Certainly possible! Nice stroll with a light setup. I love to throw streamers with a light rod and reel. This is absolutely possible on shallow, small waters with the Rextail Rock’n Dart series in combination with a Red inferno reel. Very sensitive top and you can easily throw light weights with it and certainly enough body to handle a pike.
